High wind advisory, Wednesday and Thursday

The National Weather Service predicts high winds beginning Wednesday morning, through Thursday evening.

The forecast is for sustained northeast winds from 20 to 35 mph with frequent gusts 45 to 55 mph. Strong winds will blow through passes and canyons of the coastal range and towards the coastline. Highway 1 will experience strong and gusty winds with difficult driving conditions for high profile vehicles. Power outages from downed trees and branches will be possible.
