Half Moon Bay police arrested 18-year-old Michael Alexander for intentionally setting fire to his family’s home at 736 Toulouse Court in Frenchman’s Creek at about 1:10am, according to the Examiner. There were no injuries and the damage was restricted to a bathroom.

Click here for the full story.The driver of the truck that killed a UC Santa Cruz student Saturday night on Highway 1 south of Tunita Creek Road has pleaded innocent of to the charges, which included driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance, reports the Santa Cruz Sentinel.
The Highway Patrol says that the driver, Mark Henderson, 47, fled the scene of the accident.

A head-on collision with a suspected drunk driver left a 19-year-old student at UC Santa Cruz dead and closed Highway 1 for about two hours just south of Tunitas Creek Road. The driver of a southbound truck drifted into the northbound lane in front of an oncoming motorcycle. The truck’s driver was arrest onn suspicion of manslaughter, DUI causing injury or death and hit-and-run causing injur or death.
This week it’s a warrant arrest in El Granada for a San Fracisco prostitution charge and tales of drunks and ill-advised BB gun horseplay in Princeton.

A PG&E truck flipped over on its side Sunday morning when it drove off the road on Pescadero Road near Loma Mar.
The truck was on the road to repair a powerline that had been knocked to the road, blocking traffic for three hours.
The driver was transported to an area hospital by ground ambulance and the incident is being investigated by the California High Way Patrol.
This week, Sheriff’s deputies found a stolen vehicle, drunks behind the wheel, camping in a park and at the beach in Princeton, a citizen’s arrest of a suspect loitering around the women’s restrooms in Princeton, a dog bite in Moss Beach and a warrant arrest in El Granada.
