What are the noise and use ordinances on the Midcoast?

My next door neighbor is running a junk yard in his driveway.  He starts sawing and drilling at 8am on Sunday mornings.  The noise and the visual blight is irritating and frustrating.  Anyone have any idea what the SM County rules are for noisy and littered properties in unincorporated Moss Beach?

Rich Gordon has a local day where his staff listens to residents complaints.  It is usually held once a month and at the sheriffs station in Moss Beach.  You might try this.

I passed this on to Rich Gordon’s office, and received the following reply from Matt Jacobs in his office:

First, regarding noise, during business hours, contact the San Mateo County Environmental Health Department.  Their phone number is (650) 372-6200.  For after hours, contact the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office at 650.363.4911.
In regard to the littered property they should contact the County’s Code Enforcement office at 650.363.4825.

However, if you could get me the address, I can contact code enforcement myself as I have made them aware of the post on Coastsider.

I’ve also emailed a reply to Linda from a member of the Midcoast Community Council.
