Join us at Truvy’s beauty salon in Chinquapin, Louisiana - where all the ladies who are “anybody” get their hair done - for a play that has become an American classic. Helped by her eager new assistant, Annelle (who is not sure whether or not she is still married), the outspoken, wise-cracking Truvy dispenses shampoos and free advice to the town’s rich curmudgeon, Ouiser ("I’m not crazy, I’ve just been in a bad mood for forty years."), an eccentric millionaire with a raging sweet tooth, Miss Clairee, and the local social leader M’Lynn, whose daughter Shelby is about to get married to a “good ole boy”. Billed as the “funniest show to ever make you cry”, this lovely exploration of friendship is rated G. Box office: (650) 569-3266
