The County Times has endorsed Ferreira, Grady, and McClung; and the Review has endorsed Grady, Patridge, and Skinner.

Read their endorsements. Each is surprising in its own way. Click on the comments link below the headline and let us know what you think about their choices and reasoning.

The Times had only one reject:

First to cast off our list is George Muteff, a well-meaning citizen whose idea of starting over with the Local Coastal Plan demonstrates his lack of experience and balance in approaching the area’s struggle with growth, planning and environmental issues.

…going on to observe that both Partridge [sic] and Skinner would do well on the council, before ultimately endorsing McClung’s “plethora of positive visions” (who writes this stuff?).

The Review, uncharacteristically, didn’t even name the three candidates they didn’t endorse, much less explain their objections. Curious, though it’s true that the endorsement ran a bit on the long side already.

Kevin Lansing’s summary of the media support is revealing in that the candidates that the League for Coastside Protection supported and endorsed had the most enndorsements.

• LCP—-7 out of 9 • Opposition—-2 out of 9
