UPDATED: Devil’s Slide re-opened

UPDATE: Devil’s Slide has been reopened, but the Highway Patrol says to expect some residual delays in both directions.

The San Mateo County Sheriff is reporting that the Highway 1 at Devil’s Slide is closed in both directions due to an injury accident “before Linda Mar”. The Slide has been closed since 4:40pm Wednesday afternoon, and there is no estimate of when the highway will be reopened as of 5:30pm.  Check 511.org for updates.
