Build Day for the Moss Beach Park Renovation Project is a month away! It starts on September 29 and continues through October 3.  For those who don’t know about the effort to build the new park in Moss Beach, you can find out more at the project’s web site at www.mossbeachpark.com.

Click "Read more" for other ways to help build the park.

If you would like to help with the build, you can volunteer by sending email to [email protected] Contruction will involve literally hundreds of coastside volunteers, both skilled and unskilled.  It’s going to be lots of fun!

If you would like to contribute to the fundraising for the build, please contact Stephen Miller at (650) 563-9345.  Or you can simply write a check to "CP&R" and mail it to Coastside Preservation and Recreation, PO Box 941, Moss Beach, CA 94038.  Any amount donated above $50 will be included on the donor board at the entrance of the park.  Additionally, contributors can sponsor play structures, in which case the donor’s generosity will be recognized with a plaque on the play structure itself.

Another fun way to support the park is to attend the Gala Fundraiser and Dinner Party at Mezza Luna on Thursday, September 9, from 6:30 pm to 10 pm.  Tickets are $125 per person and must be purchased in advance. For each ticket purchased, $90 will go straight to the park as a donation. This is simply a fun way to donate and celebrate at the same time.  The event will include a four course dinner by Mezza Luna, wine by Bonny Doon Winery, live swing music by The Tom Cats, a swing dance lesson by Lori Miller, and a silent auction.  Dress is swanky! Bring you zoot suit! If you would like to go, please send email to Stephen at [email protected] or call at (650) 563-9345.
