Information report
Deputy on patrol noticed a large bonfire in the area of a skate park, and made contact with six subjects who had built the fire. CalFire responded to extinguish the fire and all six were admonished to leave the area.

Information report
Deputy on patrol was flagged down by a male subject who stated he and his daughter fell off a bicycle when a dog ran out of a driveway and knocked them over.  The father was uninjured and the child complained of pain to her pinky fingers.  A report was taken to document the incident.

Deputies dispatched to report of disturbance at a residence, and made contact with several individuals who were all intoxicated and uncooperative.  It was determined that two females were in a physical altercation, one of whom left before Deputies’ arrival.  The other female involved did not wish to seek prosecution.

Deputy dispatched to report of restraining order violation, when the protected party saw the restrained party at a business within 100 yards of her residence, in violation of a court order.  Deputies checked the area, but were unable to locate the subject.  The case will be forwarded to the DA for review.

Deputies dispatched to report of commercial burglary, when unknown suspects made entry into a business and took approximately 3,510 in merchandise and caused about 1500 in damage to the structure.  The case will be forwarded to the Detective Bureau for investigation.

Deputies dispatched to report of a subject throwing a bicycle around at the entrance to a shopping center, and made contact with the man, who appeared to be too intoxicated to care for himself.  He was arrested and transported to SM County Jail.

Information report
Deputy dispatched to report of petty theft, when an unknown male juvenile put a bottle of wine, and possibly soda, in his jacket and left a store without paying.  The juvenile ran away from the store when an employee confronted him, dropping the wine as he ran.  There appeared to be a second subject associated with the theft as well.  The employee advised she would call the Sheriff’s Office if either of the two returned.

Deputies dispatched to report of intoxicated female who appeared to be about to drive away with her 10 year-old child in the car.  The woman was very intoxicated and refused to perform field sobriety tests.  She admitted to driving to the location then pulling over because she was too intoxicated.  During the arrest the woman spit in the face of a deputy and kicked him several times.  She was transported to SM County Jail.

Deputy on patrol observed vehicle with expired registration tabs, and performed a traffic stop.  The driver appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance, and admitted to using cocaine.  He was arrested and transported to SM County Jail.

Deputy on patrol observed vehicle with inoperable taillight and then observed the driver abruptly pull to the side of the road, curse at the Deputy, then re-entered the roadway.  The Deputy performed a traffic stop and found the driver appeared to be intoxicated.  CHP arrived on scene and completed the DUI investigation and subsequent arrest.

Deputies dispatched to report of hit and run collision involving a bicyclist who was found unconscious, and was airlifted to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.  The hit and run driver soon after turned himself in, stating his two small children were in his car, and they were crying and scared, so he dropped them off at a relative’s and turned himself in.  The man was arrested on charges of hit and run and transported to SM County Jail.

Deputy on patrol came upon a single vehicle collision in which the vehicle had struck a hydrant and two guard posts, and the driver had left the scene.  Water was flowing from the broken hydrant piping, and there was major front end damage to the vehicle.  Deputies made contact with the registered owner and located a suspect at the residence, who denied driving the vehicle.  The suspect’s cell phone was located in the vehicle, and he eventually admitted to driving and losing control of the vehicle.  The case will be forwarded to the DA for review on charges of hit and run and driving without a license.

Deputies performing probation search on a subject, made contact with him and two other subjects at the residence.  A female (suspect #2) who was known to be wanted on a misdemeanor warrant, also resided at that address.  The probationer (suspect #1) ran from the Deputy, but eventually stopped.  A third subject was found to be on probation with search and seizure conditions, but was uncooperative with Deputies.  He was also found to be intoxicated in public.  Suspect #1 was found in possession of two glass pipes commonly used to smoke methamphetamine.  Suspects # 1 and 2 appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance.  All three parties were arrested and transported to SM County Jail.
