Sunday, March 16, Montara residents can participate in the charity food drive in one or both of two ways.

Put nonperishable food in a bag, then put your bag out in front of your house (in Montara) before 1pm on Sunday, March 16. Every little bit helps—we collected hundreds of bags last year! If possible, please ensure the bag is visible from the street.

You’re also invited to join the hunt! We’re having a car rally "egg hunt" to find the bags around Montara! It’s lots of fun for kids, and whole families are encouraged to participate together. Arrive at 1 PM on Sunday, March 16 in the Montara Post Office parking lot. Not only will you be helping needy people, but might earn cool prizes!

Participants must sign in. This is a Montara Greenhouse event put on by the ReachOut Youth Service Group to benefit Coastside Hope.

On Saturday, March 15, kids, kids in grades K-5 are invited to come for a wild and fun time at our Story of Easter Kids Party. From 10an to 12:30pm, we’ll be turning the CCP building at Farallone View School into a funhouse of live gameshow competitions, karaoke, crafts and general silliness. PLUS, Story Time Theater presents "Unwrapping Easter", the true story of Easter’s wonderful meaning! NOTE: This event has spiritual content.

A big thanks to those who donated and collected roughly 1.5 tons (yes TONS) of food for Coastside Hope!
