What next after we’ve lost our clinic? Meeting tonight in HMB
Interested in learning more about the state of health care on the coast? Shocked by the recent clinic closing? Dr. Grant Weiss, once a physician at Seton Medical Center Coastside, is helping to organize the community to deal with this sudden change in our health care services.
Thursday he and a group of like-minded residents will be holding a community meeting at the Community United Methodist Church, on the corner of Miramontes & Johnston—just a block or so away from Cuhna’s in downtown Half Moon Bay. The meeting will begin at 7:00.
Reused with permission from Montara Fog.

I received this info too late to act on it (assuming the “Thursday” mentioned was the Thursday it was posted - the 23rd.) I am very interested in participating in this dialog. Who/ how do find out what’s going on with this? I’ve heard that some of the doctors from CFMC are thinking about banding together and reforming. HOw can I support that?
Does anyone know if there is a way to contact our doctors? I’d love it if they set up an email box or something. I feel so helpless on this whole thing. Is there any point of contact?

Diane,
If you follow the link in the notice above your comment to Montara Fog and then to its discussion group, you’ll find several posts from Dr. Grant Weiss, including the flyer for the meeting. Contact info (telephone, email) is listed on that flyer. I’m sure the group that has formed will be happy for more help.
