Many years ago, there was a not-so-politically-correct Golden Book for children where a bunch of tigers chased each other around a tree until they turned into butter, which the hero of the story then enjoyed on his pancakes.

Similarly, the ideologically-driven property rights activists from Put Community First (PCF) enjoy chasing their environmental opponents around on the Half Moon Bay Review’s TalkAbout, trying to elect Richard Bulan to MWSD. Their hit-you-over-the-head or hit-you-in-the-face tactics are on display for all to see, so don’t deserve further comment here. They also frequently, and gratuitously, taunt the League for Coastside Protection (LCP) because our tigers are on such an adrenaline rush. Others might construe it as hubris.

Tuesday is election day and our PCF tigers can hardly wait. Personally, I’m wondering if their hubris will still be fresh on pancakes Wednesday morning?
