I have openings on Thursdays after school for tutoring.

Veteran elementary teacher and professional librarian seeks students for one-to-one tutoring in my home (or yours) beginning the week of September 6th.  I offer K-8 support in reading, writing, (math up to sixth grade), spelling/grammar, French, Spanish, and study and research skills. Small groups possible for beginning language students. Creative and expository writing is my specialty. I utilize reading evaluation tools and have an extensive library of teaching resources. I have a reputation for patience, compassion, and confidence-building. My rates are competitive. I will provide a detailed letter and resume upon request. References available. Help your child strengthen existing skills, broaden in selected areas, or forge ahead in a new area of interest. Flexible locations: my house, yours, or even your child’s school, when possible.
