Thursday, November 11, Exploring the Wine & Cheese Aisles: Join The Chef Amy and learn about different varieties of wine and cheese. This is a perfect way to get ready for holiday entertaining. Participants will receive a store coupon for $5 off a $25 purchase! $10. 6pm-7:30pm.

Tuesday, November 16, Healthy Holiday Cooking: Chef Amy will give a hands-on cooking class so you can enjoy the holidays with a little less guilt. Learn some great tips such as how to substitute fat and sugar and enhance nutrition. Some of the recipes covered are: Spinach and cheese crustless quiche; quinoa, green bean and almond salad; quick brown gravy; kasha (toasted buckwheat), sage, raisin and walnut stuffing; crisp topped pumpkin cake. $20. 6pm-7:30pm.

Wednesday, December 1: Comfort Foods Cooking Class: Winter is here and it’s time to think stews and braising. If you think comfort foods take too long, think again. Chef Amy will share some of her favorite winter recipes that you can make any night of the week using good ingredients and great techniques. They do not require a lot of time. Gluten-free variations will be included. Featured recipes include: creamy chicken stew with homemade biscuits; quick and easy Italian cassoulet; and butternut squash risotto with white wine and sage. $20. 6pm-7:30pm.
