Evidently, our President can’t hear.

He doesn’t quite understand the message that we sent to him and his party on November 7th.

He doesn’t seem to understand—or agree with—the report from the “bipartisan” Iraq Study Group.

He seems to think that sending more troops into Baghdad, more warships into the Persian Gulf, and more threats to Iran and Syria is going to improve the situation in Iraq.

He doesn’t remember the tragedy of Vietnam.  And by repeating the same mistakes, he risks plunging us into World War III.

For what?

It’s time to send a strong, clear message to President Bush:  NO Escalation.  No more troops in Iraq.

Protest tonight.  6:00pm in Pacifica, @Hwy 1 & Linda Mar (in front of Denny’s).

There are also rallys at various locations over the hill.  See http://www.americasaysno.org or www.moveon.org for more info.

We’ve seen where sitting on our butts gets us.  It’s time to stand up and be heard.

I hope to see you there.
