Well, once again we had a great turn-out for trick-or-treaters. And once again I was bowled over by what a great group of kids we have here in Montara.

But I’m curious about one thing: the complete absence of UNICEF boxes. This is in stark contrast to everywhere else I’ve lived. Imo, it’s a great way to get kids involved in helping other kids while having fun at the same time. Is the UNICEF Halloween program simply not done out here in CA, or not on the coastside? Or…?

Two of our classes at Cunha Intermediate had UNICEF boxes (that’s about 70 kids) as a fund raiser.  I guess none of them made it by your house.  I don’ t know how much the kids brought in…...
