The City of Half Moon Bay Recreation Division is hosting the Secrets of Credit Scores Seminar on April 28 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. at the Ted Adcock Community Center in Half Moon Bay. This seminar, sponsored by local realtor Marian Bennett, will be led by Ed Diaz, an eighteen year veteran of the lending industry. In this seminar Ed will present several essentials to maintaining and repairing your credit and will:
• Increase your understanding of FICO scores
• Show you how to fix your credit and increase your FICO scores
• Present a clear history of credit scores
• Learn to use your credit to leverage other peoples money
• Who are the critical credit reporting agencies & how they work
• Increase your awareness as to who reports, when and how
• Reveal little-known truths about mortgage lending and interest rates
• Learn how banks rate your credit scores

All proceeds from this presentation benefit the Rollie Wright Sponsorship Fund. The fund was established in 2004 after long time Parks and Recreation Director Rollie Wright lost his battle with cancer. Funds are available to qualifying coastal residents for recreational programs and are available to people of all ages.
