The Activity Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of a written, planned schedule of social and other purposeful independent and group activities. The program will be designed to make residents’ lives more meaningful by stimulating and supporting physical and medical capabilities to the fullest extent, enabling the resident to maintain the highest attainable social, physical, and emotional well being. The position is 40 HPW/Days with benefits.
Requirements include a degree in Recreational, Occupational, Art, Music or Dance Therapy; 2+ years experience or equivalent in social or recreational healthcare programs w/in the last 5 years; or satisfactory completion of at least 36 hours of specifically designed training course; previous LTC experience preferred.
