A little bird told me, (ok, ok - it was an employee) that It’s Italia is going to move from the Stone Pine Center to the location on Main Street that currently houses the now closed Half Moon Bay Inn.  After a renovation to include a display kitchen area and new soundproofing, the restaurant will open sometime at the beginning of 2009.  Don’t know about you guys, but I’ll enjoy the extra room (no more cramped quarters) - and the pizza is pretty good to boot.  I will miss the Inn but I’m glad to know the lovely location will not sit empty.

Sorry that HMB Inn has closed.  We loved their breakfasts and ate there often.  However, I think my son speaks for all of us when he says “YAY!  It’s Italia will finally have more than one bathroom!”  :)

I had heard from a It’s Italia employee a week or so ago that they were moving by October. Then I heard from an Inn employee that they were going to be there and open for at least two more years. Lots of hearsay I guess.
