Thursday August 27—New Leaf Community Day Benefits Coastside Hope—By shopping at New Leaf in Half Moon Bay on August 27, you can help support your community through Coastside Hope. On Aug. 27, 5% of the day’s sales at New Leaf Community Markets on Thursday, August 27 will be donated to Coastside Hope (http://www.coastsidehope.org), a nonprofit that has been a primary provider of safety net services for the Coastside community for over 30 years. On-going services include crisis intervention and case management, emergency and supplemental food, rental assistance and utility assistance, clothing and clothing vouchers, immigration and citizenship services, and emergency transportation services. From 11am to 2pm, and 4pm to 7pm, representatives from Coastside Hope will be on hand at New Leaf to answer questions and talk about their programs. New Leaf Community Markets is open from 8 am to 9pm and is located at 150 San Mateo Rd, at the corner of Rt 1 and 92, in Half Moon Bay.
