Paper and Ink: The Tools of the Trade

Writing is a solitary craft and it can often be difficult to find the right person to give you the kind of feedback you are looking for. Believe me, I know this from experience. When I started writing Watermark, I didn?t know what questions I should be asking myself, much less someone else. I knew I needed help making the story ?right? but I had no idea what that meant. I tried it all: classes, groups, friends and family. Some of these things worked but most didn?t. It ultimately took me eight years to get my first novel published. Let me help you so that it doesn?t take you nearly that long!

I am a published fiction writer with a novel coming out next year by Avon A/HarperCollins, and shorter pieces in various print and online venues. I have an MFA in Creative Writing and am a founding editor of an online journal now in its ninth year. I have extensive editing, proofreading and critiquing experience and am excited to help you revise and polish your fiction pieces so that they are pitch perfect for publication!

Services I offer include:

Proofreading and Overview
Developmental Editing
Manuscript Critique and Evaluation
One-on-One Tutoring

Free sample edit of first few pages available on request
