Wanted: quiet rental cabin/house in or near Kings Mt. area of Woodside (no further south than Bear Gulch). Remote/rustic OK (within reason). Prefer not to live above or below another unit, or share walls.

Considerate, quiet, responsible, respectful, attentive, resourceful, mature male with a strictly indoor, well-behaved cat. I’m a current resident of Kings Mountain, and I’m experienced in mountain/forest living—won’t bail after two months because there’s no cell reception; will bring my own generator, won’t complain about storms, long commute, etc.

I’m a plant/botany/landscaping hobbyist and wildland/habitat conservation advocate. Great neighbor/tenant: stable, established employment (IT professional/writer, over 16 years at the same job), good references. Significant housesitting/caretaking/landscape maintenance experience, as well.

Some needs: quiet. Location should be broadband-internet capable—I can pay for survey/install if needed—and I would like some space for outdoor container plants (I raise orchids, succulents and native/exotic plants, all legal). Rent negotiable; looking for something in the $1450 to $1950 range (or, of course, less). Please note I am not in search of a roommate/share situation, and I don’t wish to live outside the Kings Mountain area.
