A woman I work with is having her first baby and she and her husband are concerned that they will not be able to care for their dog, Roscoe after the birth of their child.  Here’s a link to his page on Dogster:

I’ve met him and he’s a sweetie.  Housebroken, trained, used to being home while they are away at work.  However, he does is not socialized with other dogs.  Now, I’m a big fan of Cesar Milan and I’m certain that the right owner, with the right energy, could work with Roscoe and get him socialized.  He’s wonderful with people.
