The goal of this workshop is to help participants become keenly aware of seeing-specifically, seeing precisely what is in their own images.  The process begins with an initial critique of participants’ best work and continues through 5 weeks with critiques and shooting assignments designed to hone photographic skills, intuitive self-trust, and the ability to think in terms of the frame, light and gesture. Susan informs and challenges participants with an active schedule of assignments, reviews, and lectures illustrated with examples. Bring your camera, tripod, walking shoes, an open mind, and a bag full of willingness.  Workshop limited to 8 participants.  More details upon registration.

REQUIREMENTS BEFORE TAKING THIS WORKSHOP: To get the most from the workshop, please make a serious effort before you arrive to learn basic camera operation: how shutter speeds relate to lens openings and what depth of field means and what each dial or button on your camera does. Study your camera manual carefully and bring it with you.
