Fall is here and it’s time to think stews and braising. If you think comfort foods take too long, think again. On Thursday, October 21 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm, Chef Amy Fothergill will share some of her favorite fall recipes that you can make any night of the week using good ingredients and great techniques. Gluten-free variations will be included. These quick and easy dishes: creamy chicken stew with homemade biscuits, Italian cassoulet and butternut squash risotto with white wine and sage. Pre-registration required. The class costs $20 and will take place at New Leaf Community Markets, 150 San Mateo Rd, Half Moon Bay.
