Two meth arrests at Moonridge, “explosive devices” taped two windshields are removed by the bomb squad three days after the Fourth, an unattended child in a restaurant parking lot, someone is beaten in Moonridge, dogs attacked by an unleashed dog in Pescadero, and unfriendly natives in Montara:

Deputies were dispatched to a report of a disturbance between a pedestrian and a vehicle. The occupants of the vehicle made a wrong turn and came in contact with a female and two male subjects who were yelling at them to slow down. When they attempted to leave the area the one of the three threw a log at the vehicle causing damage to the passenger side of the vehicle.

Chamomile Lane, Moonridge
On 07-06-2011, a suspect was contacted on Chamomile Lane in unincorporated San Mateo County.  A consent search revealed a plastic baggy containing methamphetamine in his pants pocket.  During a search, incident to arrest, a plastic baggy containing methamphetamine was located his front sweatshirt pocket.  The subject was arrested and transported to the San Mateo County Jail.

Chamomile Lane, Moonridge
A second arrest at the same location was made when Deputies contacted a subject and found him to be in possession of crystal methamphetamine. He was taken to the county jail.

San Carlos Ave, El Granada
Residents of San Carlos Avenue in El Granada found that someone had taped an explosive device on the windshields of both of their vehicles. The San Mateo County Bomb Squad was notified and responded to the scene and safely removed the explosives.

Harte St. / Sunshine Valley Road, Montara
Deputies were dispatched to a report of a disturbance between a pedestrian and a vehicle. 300 block of Capistrano Road, Princeton
Deputies were dispatched to a local restaurant on a report of a child left unattended in a vehicle and she was crying. An unknown female came out of the restaurant and contacted the reporting party. She told them that she had put the child to bed in the vehicle. The female took the child back into the restaurant with her. The child approached other restaurant patrons and asked them to take her with them. When asked her name she had to ask her mother what her name was. After the couple left the restaurant the reporting party called to report the incident to the Sheriff’s Office.

Assault
07/10/11 @ 0032 hours
Pear Orchard Way, Moonridge
Deputies responded to a report of a fight involving several subjects using bats, sticks and possibly a shovel. Deputies found a victim staggering in the area with two lacerations to his head and one to his lower leg. The victim was transported to the hospital. Five subjects were contacted in a nearby residence. One of the subjects was found with blood on his clothing. A shovel was found in a closet. Five subjects were contacted, interviewed and arrested. They were taken to the county jail.

Public Intoxication

Iris Lane / Rose Road, Moonridge
Deputies were dispatched to a report of a reckless driver. They located and contacted the driver. The driver was found outside of his vehicle. He was interviewed and found to be too intoxicated to care for himself. He was arrested and taken to the county jail.

700 block of North Street, Pescadero
A citizen came to the Sheriff’s Substation to report that two off leash dogs had attacked his dog and bit him in the nose. He took his dog to a local vet to have the puncture wound treated and he went to the hospital to have his would treated. PHS was notified of the incident.
