This video is a record of a public meeting held in El Granada on 5/26/11 featuring a ‘Presentation of Plan Concepts’ for the improvement of roadway and trails on the Coastside Highway 1 corridor from Devil’s Slide Tunnel (south portal) to the Half Moon Bay Airport. This is phase 2 of a study of Highway 1 on the Coastside. Phase 1 of the study (2009) covered Highway 1 from the airport south to Miramar. The study is sponsored by San Mateo County. The goal of the planning process is to improve safety and mobility for pedestrians, bicyclists and motorists.

The 5/26/11 meeting recorded in these videos only presents conceptual or preliminary design proposals. A more developed design proposal is expected to be published in Nov 2011, followed by a public presentation and then submission to the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors.
