Freakishly large pumpkin lumbers to victory in Half Moon Bay

Joel Holland of Puyallup, WA, won this year's Pumpkin Weigh-Off with a 1223-pound giant, six pounds shy of his winning entry in 2005.

Local favorites John and Eda Muller swept the Half Moon Bay category, taking the top three slots, and delivered a pair of square pumpkins, in the guise of dice, to the event as well. Click to read the full list of entrants and their weights.
