How fast was did one or both of them have to be going to roll such a heavy car? This is just crazy.
I see people tare up and down 6th St all the time as if it’s a race track without stopping for anything including the stop signs.
We’re lucky there hasn’t been more serious accidents on this stretch of road.
“How fast was did one or both of them have to be going to roll such a heavy car? This is just crazy.”
Having owned one, I can tell you from first hand experience that they are fairly top heavy and likely wouldn’t need to be hit at any great speed to topple like that.
Incidentally, the headline is wrong. It’s a Land Rover Discovery, not a Range Rover.
I’m glad there were no serious injuries.
The photo may be something of a collector’s item in years to come. This is the first Land Rover I’ve seen on the coast with even the smallest dent or speck of mud on it. That has to be worth something. :)
And not to be pedantic, but the caption still has a typo. Land Rover is the company, Range Rover is their sort of luxury model (starting at $80,000), the Discovery was an upscale model for people who didn’t want to spend the money on the Range Rover, now replaced by the LR4 (starting at $48,000).
If you really want to drive across the wilds in Kenya maybe get this model instead (not available in the USA, but available in Kenya): http://www.landrover.com/gl/en/lr/defender/explore/double-cab-pick-up/

Darin… “pedantic” ...really? Thesaurus gone awry…
