POST's purchase 0f the 215 acre parcel of Wavecrest seems the perfect solution for the community of Half Moon Bay and the Coastside. Passive and recreational uses will protect the character of the community which would have been altered dramaticaly by the development of hundreds of houses, turning Half Moon Bay into a suburb of San Francisco. Thank you for posting your editorial comments regarding Mr. Lynch and the Pilarcitos Creek Park site. As a newcomer (less than two years) to this lovely area, I found your editorial as well as all of the information regarding the timeline involved in the purchase very helpful in getting a grasp of the situation.
