Landslide cuts communication to the Coastside

As of Sunday night, T-mobile, SprintPCS and land lines (SBC) were all working fine. On Sunday night, Coastside.net DSL was behaving interestingly...we had "sync" with the DSL provider (this is good) and encrypted traffic (e.g. a VPN tunnel and other encrypted services) were all working fine. HOWEVER, on Sunday night, "normal" web browsing was not working. (The irony: I was able to connect successfully to a server in Europe with no problem, but I couldn't do a search on Google!). barry...viewing this from a wifi connection in Boston (n.b. the embassy suites at logan has free wifi in the lobby...sweet!). way faster. no noticable latency. kudos!
