Not a bad idea if the project stops at 92. There is no need to go throught the park and down Stone Pine. Let those neighborhoods live in peace.

Here are some facts: 1. 40% of all workers in L.A. County (L.A. County has 10 million people) are working for cash and not paying taxes. This was because they are predominantly illegal immigrants, working without a green card. 2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens. 3. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens. 4. Some of what I am going on is faith alone. I believe that Bonnie and Naomi have other projects in mind that will benefit the coast. My goal is to keep this "mini" sport's complex from being build where planned. I hope there are other things the city council can find to use the money for. I worked with Bonnie for 5 years and have experienced her fairness and good judgement. I don't know Naomi that well, but I do believe people can change. Cypress Cove swung the election. Mike, Tony and Jim tried to shove a park down our throats and we spit it back up. I have only been on the coast ten years, but this is no way to do business anywhere. I personally have faith in the new council, and I believe, a voice. Whatever happens, we have gotten rid of the rude and arrogant part of the council that very seldom seemed to want to listen to anyone else but themselves. Now we know what we will get: smart growth.

Seems to me there was a picture of Mike Ferreira's victory celebration in the news paper the day after the elections. Was that some bad Karma or Mike just being his smug self? Go Bonnie!
