Coastsider endorses Pam Fisher for CUSD board

October 30, 2006
Just an FYI: The only reason I brought up Ms. Fisher's dog at the high school, was to point out that she chose to bend a stated campus rule that is in place as a health issue. If she chooses to ignore this, what else will be ignored? By the way, this took place prior to Astroturf. However, that doesn't really matter, since the children are still on the grass, even if it isn't real. If you read my comments, you will notice that I never brought up the issue of the lights. I do not have all the information…

Coastsider endorses Pam Fisher for CUSD board

October 28, 2006
As someone who has heard first hand of Ms. Fisher's credentials and background, who would not be impressed? Why is it not by the airport so that those of us in Moss Beach can be aware of the travel times as well? Of course it doesn't really make a difference,…

Albertsons closing in HMB

June 08, 2006
Of course the Albertson’s shopping area is ugly...it was built in the late 60's and then it was a beautiful Alpha Beta! It meant that you no longer had to drive over the hill once a month to stock up. Of course we had three stores in HMB then and the El Granada Market so there were lots of choices. Losing Albertson's is just another blow to the locals. Many of us have been priced out of Cunha. So now we only have Safeway, which already can not keep up with the demands. Many of us in Moss Beach…
