A friend and I want to photograph wildflowers and was wondering where there is an abundance of them on the coast right now? Any suggestions? We are both mobile and a hike is doable. Thanks
The Hazelnut trail at San Pedro Valley County Park in the back for Pacifica is great for spring wildflowers. There is an abundance of native wildflowers and they change frequently throughout the spring. But beware the poison oak—there’s a lot adjacent to the trail right now.
The Coastside Land Trust has a wildflower workshop and tour this Saturday: http://coastsidelandtrust.org/newandevents/current.html
