I agree with Tina. Safeway is lacking. Our neighbor told me yesterday that she bought 2 cartons of milk and got them home and they were both rotten. She took them back and asked the stock person in the back how could they be rotten. He said to her" you have no idea how long this stuff sits out until it gets put in the refrigerator!" Disgusting! I have had the same problem with produce. Get it home and it is all rotten. Trader Joes or Whole foods would be awesome as they carry the best quality and…

Caltrans may end “free” right turns onto Hwy 92 for HMB commuters

I am going to chime in here on people trying to beat the commute. We live in East Miramar and are getting VERY tired of people parking on our street at night to cut down their morning commute. This is OUR HOME not a parking lot. Please respect that and stop leaving your cars on our street. You know who you are. You live in El Granada and are coming through the quarry trail. . Again please respect what little we have left of our quality of life. Lisa

Mr. Ginna, Apathy? Please. I posted because I AM concerned about the school situation here on the coast. I love this community and please do not mistake that for a moment. We are all entitled to our opinions. I do not feel that Measure S is the answer. Does not mean I am right nor wrong. We have chosen to give our kids the best we can and for us that is providing them with a high quality education which is just not available here on the coast. Ugh! I am so tired of hearing about Measure S and seeing the signs. Be done with it. The school district constantly complains about it's need for money and nothing is EVER done. Precisely the reason our children do not attend school here on the coast and never will. We love this community and are dismayed by the state of CUSD. We know we have made the right choice electing to put our children in school over the hill. I just wish we had more options out here. Lisa
