Blue Blanket Improv Announces Its April 14, 2012, Comedy Improv Show

ANIMAL DISCOVERY PLANET: TRANSCRIPT APRIL 14, 2012
Host: This week, we are tracking persistent reports of a rare Manta Azul surfacing in the small California coastal town of Half Moon Bay. The Manta Azul, also known by the more familiar “Blue Blanket,” is a social animal typically found in a “troupe” of four to seven members. Known especially for their keen intellect, fast reflexes, and cunning creativity, the species has been known to break out in song and exhibit other forms of unpredictable, amusing behavior. The Animal Discovery Planet crew recommends caution when approaching as outsiders have been known to be pulled onstage.
This propensity to display hilarious behavior has an unusual monthly cycle, peaking on the second Saturday of the month, which this month falls on April 14, 2012. Our location scouts have determined the best viewing opportunity:

As a precaution, before entering the viewing area, we encourage you to fortify yourself with food and drink (available for purchase on site) and prepare for the periodic “challenges” offered by the Manta Azul. In an effort to impress, they will frequently ask a seemingly innocuous question (“Your favorite season?” “Something you can find at a garage sale?”), from which they will demonstrate their stage prowess by incorporating your response into short scenes.
Please note that during the filming of this episode you will be in close proximity to the Manta Azul. Although a generally gregarious, friendly bunch, they are unpredictable, so PLEASE DO NOT MENTION the pesto-encrusted shrimp balls. If you do, your liability waiver becomes null and void.
