Jim Porter, Director of Public Works is getting a little crazy with the signage planned for an extremely short street (Los Banos: from Park Ave to Ocean Blvd).
Proposed “ROAD CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC” signs and Additional Warning Signs:
Signs Legend
A: “DIP” B: “DIP”
C: “ROAD CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC” and “ROAD ENDS 500 FT”
D: Pictorial Steep Grade “35%” and “END”
E: “END”
Today the BOS requested that Department of Public Works coordinate with local residents to scale back the amount of random signage and install permeant and attractive barricades in place of the current chains with red and orange reflectors and sawhorse road closure signage.

The sawhorses and chains have been up since 2006.
