Barry,
I thought I’d see gorillas in this post?

Seriously though: Any of you who have cleaned beaches have surely found similar items to what is neatly packaged in the trays photo’d in the link provided above.
On Poplar Beach, we find every weekend morning, party remnants of the previous evening’s festivities: beer cans, hard alcohol bottles, solo party cups, underpants, smoldering embers of a beach bonfire. This trash provides a dangerous environment for the beach visitors, and is washed out to sea at the next high tide.
Dumpsters are provided in the parking lot above. Party people please: if you pack it in while it’s full and heavy, please pack it out when you’re feelin’ good and the cans are empty.
At Surfer’s Beach, new trash cans and doggy doo bags will be provided soon to help improve the litter/dog doo situation. Keep an eye out for that.
Please join your local Surfrider San Mateo County Chapter for monthly beach clean-ups (next beach clean-up is Earth Day in April). Details to be found on our Events page at our website.

I have in fact removed at least one of these items from the beach my own self.
