This is a big deal.  A previously perilous climb down a crumbling cliff is now a beautiful staircase, providing outstanding access to a beautiful beach in the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve.  Whether you come to the event, you should try out the new stairs.

Regarding the area at the top of the staircase with the signs, what do the money-sloshing designers of this project have against natural surfaces?

Forty years ago, when we lived in the Beach House,to the South of the Stairs, the thought of increasing access to the Beach would have been the last thing we would have wanted.however the last 6 or 7 years my knees
have been so bad,I coundn’t make it down the Cliff anymore, so now the Stairs sounds like a Great Idea. Also the Owners of the Distillery tell me the people in the Beach House ,now ,are always complaining about the noise from the Distillery, which is impossible to hear from there,so they deserve all the new Company. If anything,in the 70’s the Distillery should have been complaining about the noise from the Beach House. Thanks
