Coastside Mothers hosts “Chinese Medicine and Women’s Health”, Thursday

The Coastside Mothers’ Club will host "Chinese Medicine and Women’s Health",  a presentation by Lisa Mandelbaum, licensed acupuncturist and Diplomate of Oriental Medicine who will discuss fundamentals of Chinese pattern diagnosis.

Thursday, April 3, 2008, 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. 
The Bell Building, 565 Kelly Street, Half Moon Bay

This event is recommended for women who are interested in various treatment principles for premenstrual syndrome, painful periods, fatigue, perimenopause and post pregnancy care.  The event is free of charge and open to the public. Lisa Mandelbaum, M.S., L.Ac, Dipl. O.M., is both a California licensed acupuncturist and a nationally certified Diplomate in Oriental Medicine. While earning her four-year master’s degree at American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Lisa completed an internship with Lifang Liang, one of the foremost practitioners in Chinese medicine and women’s health. Lisa has treated patients at San Francisco’s Jewish Home for the Aged, as well as American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine’s community acupuncture clinic. In addition to being a massage practitioner, she also holds a certification in Constitutional Facial Renewal, a facial acupuncture protocol developed by Mary Elizabeth Wakefield.
