CUSD hearings on self-described “budget crisis” begin Nov 17

With a structural deficit climbing to over $2.2 million and additional mid-year cuts from Sacramento looming on the horizon, the Cabrillo Unified School District board has scheduled three community study sessions to hear from its constituents.

All three of these community sessions will begin at 6:00 p.m. and precede regularly scheduled meetings on the following dates:

  • Thursday, November 17, El Granada Elementary School Multi-Use Room
  • Thursday, December 8, Farallone View Elementary School Multi-Use Room
  • Thursday, January 12, HMBHS Multi-Use Room (pending Board adoption of 2012 meeting schedule)
