A 26-year-old Half Moon Bay man was shot in the arm at the Alliance station at the corner of Highways 92 and 1, shortly before 8:20pm Sunday night, according to city police. The victim was transported to Stanford Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries to his right forearm.

According to police, the victim was talking to a woman in the driver’s seat of another car at the station.  A male passenger in her car confronted the victim for talking to the driver. After a brief physical altercation, the suspect drew a handgun and shot the victim. The suspect got back in the car—a light-colored Chrysler passenger car—which fled east on Highway 92.

The suspect was described as a white male in his twenties or thirties, about six feet tall and 175 lbs.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Half Moon Bay Police Department at 650.726.8286
