Hop for a Cause, Saturday and Sunday
With spring underway, and Easter just around the corner, the Merchants at Harbor Village along with a host of other local businesses have been hard at work preparing for the Harbor Village Malls 2nd Annual Easter celebration and Charity Fundraiser Event. The event takes place on Saturday and Sunday April 23rd and 24th from 11A.M-6 P.M at Harbor Village Mall located at 270 Capistrano road Half Moon Bay ca 94019 (Harbor Village Shops in Princeton by the Sea.) Some of the free events taking place throughout the day on both Saturday and Sunday.

Sunday will include the following:
Why: We at Harbor Village want to give back to our community and country that has given us every opportunity to succeed, and also raise awareness for the different charities that need help in our world. We want to extend our hand for all the greater bay area to come and join us in a safe, fun, and beautiful environment in Half Moon Bay.
o Easter Egg Hunt (Sign Ups start at 10:30 at HMB Taffy)
? Ages 1-3 2:00 P.M
? Ages 4-6 2:10 P.M
? Ages 6+ 2:20 P.M
o Easter Treasure Hunt-Ages 5-13 (12-5 P.M with prizes awarded for completion)
o Appearances by the Easter Bunny throughout the day.
o Live music
o Face painting, Easter coloring, and card making
o Other kids activities such as tic-tac-toe, free kite flying and puzzles for kids
o Woman’s clothing sales/trunk shows, art exhibits
o Fundraisers taking place throughout the weekend include the following:

? Mezza Luna café- will donate 10% of sales to the Japan relief fund.
? Savvy Skirts and Kristi Will Home +Design – Will be having Lemonade for lymphoma sales at 1$. Donations will go to the Lemonade & Lymphoma society. Also Saturday at savvy skirts spend $25 at and get one free family portrait provided by Pacific Coast Family Photo Adventures. Perfect Mother’s Day gift! Portrait sessions will be done on the spot at the store
? Half Moon Bay Taffy Co. - 10% of sales will go to the Half Moon Bay Sports Program.
? The Wine Bar- 10% of sales will go to the Japan relief fund. Also Live Music Sat: 8pm-10pm Blame it on the dog- American original songs. Sun: 3-6 Mike Kostowskyj- 55 string Ukranian Bandura.
? Princeton Yarns & Art Gallery- 10% of sales Half Moon bay Music program
? Half Moon Flowers- 10% of sales will go to the Creativity Explored Foundation, which is a non-profit visual arts center where developmentally disabled artists create, exhibit, and sell art.
? Freedom Store- Fair trade chocolate sales benefit Not For Sale, to raise awareness about the exploitation of children in the cocoa industry and provide a delicious alternative. 100% of store sales go to Not For Sale’s anti-trafficking efforts.
? Sense of Peace- Sense of Peace- Trunk show with a bay area jewelry artist, Elizabeth Lynn Moon, 10% of the proceeds will go to providing toys for dislocated children in Japan. In addition, all proceeds from a 5-minute session on the revolutionary amethyst biomat for $2.50 will also go to providing toys for the children in Japan.
? Art Attic- Face Painting for the kids at 5$. 10% will go to Cabrillo Education Foundation. Address is located at 500-c Purissima st, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019
? Surf Factory- will donate 5% to the High school Award Program.
? Princeton Books- 10% of sales to the Half moon bay music program
? Pink and Harmony- Women’s Clothing store based in Menlo Park will be having a trunk show selling Shoes, clothing, jewelry, and accessories. 10% of the proceeds will go to the American cancer society. Located at 1155 Crane St, Ste 5 Menlo Park, CA 94025 (650) 561-4844
? Mariners Church-Mariners Church will have a booth selling premium coffee to raise money to install running water at a remote school in El Salvador to stop hepatitis among the children. Located at Mariners Church. 225 S. Cabrillo Hwy 101C Half Moon Bay, CA 94019.
