Kendra Shank Quartet live at Iridium Jazz Club, New York City, in 2002. Medley of Kendra Shank's "Incantation" with Abbey Lincoln's song "Throw it Away." Kendra Shank - voice, shaker / Frank Kimbrough - piano / Dean Johnson - bass / Tony Moreno - drums.

Vocalist Kendra Shank combines jazz originals, standards, world music, French songs, folk/pop tunes, and open improvisation in an adventurous, genre-bending style that inspired Gary Giddins to call her "one of New York’s most original performers." (Jazz Times). Pianist/composer/arranger Geoff Keezer is Shank’s trump card – his talent can be startling.
