MCC Agenda for Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Seton at 7:30 p.m.
Highlights of the agenda for the regular MCC meeting next Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Seton Medical Center Coastside, Marine Boulevard & Etheldore, Moss Beach.
Directions: (Take Highway 1 to Marine Boulevard and follow hospital signs uphill)
MCC attendees must park in upper parking lot (first left near top of hill) per hospital policy.
The Council will be discussing and may take action on the following Regular Agenda Items:
4. Regular Agenda – The Council may take action on the following items:
a. GGNRA RCdT Update – Kehoe/Carey 8:00 (30 minutes) Christine Carey, National Parks Conservancy and GGNRA staff will discuss an environmental remediation project at Moss Beach Ranch involving removal of contaminated soil and solid waste debris. They will also update the community on Rancho Corral de Tierra plans. Len has a trails update.
Desired Outcome: Inform the public and take comments on Moss Beach Ranch and RCdT updates.
b. Princeton Shoreline Development - Ketcham (8:30) (30 minutes) Overview presentation of development along the 3 blocks of Princeton shoreline, including existing development, projects on appeal, and projects approved but not yet built.
Desired Outcome: Informational, and discussion of how to protect the shoreline from overdevelopment while the Princeton Plan process proceeds.
c. Princeton Boatyard Herring Project - Ketcham (9:00) (15 minutes) PLN2005-00349 for group of 4 commercial buildings along shoreline in 200 block of Princeton Ave (between Vassar and Columbia), approved by Zoning Hearing Officer in 2008 and appealed to Planning Commission. Planning staff requests MCC comment on revised project which now consists of 6 buildings. MCC 4/24/06 comments referenced as background.
Desired Outcome: Update MCC 4/24/06 comments to Planning Staff regarding the re-design of this project.
d. Princeton Plan Update – Kehoe/Ketcham (9:15) (15 minutes) Update the community and the Council on the Princeton Plan process and next steps from conversations with County staff.
Desired Outcome: Council will vote to support or further comment on the Scope of Work.
