Highlights of the agenda for the regular MCC meeting next Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Seton Medical Center Coastside, Marine Boulevard & Etheldore, Moss Beach.


Directions: (Take Highway 1 to Marine Boulevard and follow hospital signs uphill)


MCC attendees must park in upper parking lot (first left near top of hill) per hospital policy.

The Council will be discussing and may take action on the following Regular Agenda Items:

a. Midcoast Safety and Mobility Studies - Kehoe (8:00) (45 minutes) Discussion and public comment on the County's Mobility Study Action Plan presented at the 5/23/12 MCC meeting (County’s summary of comments received on Phase I & II studies). Council needs to promote a process for moving the study forward to implementation.
Desired Outcome: Send the County updates from the community for finalizing the Mobility Study Action Plan, and suggestions for a method for implementation.

b. Letter to Caltrans on Street Light in Moss Beach - Kehoe (8:45) (15 minutes) Discussion of supporting Supervisor Horsley’s Letter to Caltrans on illuminating the Virginia St. intersection in Moss Beach for better safety.
Desired Outcome: Approve a letter to Caltrans supporting the Supervisor’s request for street lighting in Moss Beach for safety.

c. MCC representation on C/CAG Airport Land Use Committee (ALUC) - Ketcham (9:00) (15 minutes) Select a MCC representative and alternate for ALUC and/or the HMB Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan (ALUCP) update Project Advisory Committee (PAC) in anticipation of C/CAG approval.
Desired Outcome: Select appointee and alternate.

d. New MCC Website - Erickson (9:15) (15 minutes) Present for approval a proposed name for the website and a first year budget for the site.
Desired Outcome: Approve a name and a first year budget for the new website.
