MCC Special Meeting Agenda for Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Seton at 7:30 p.m.
Highlights of the agenda for the Special MCC meeting next Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Seton Medical Center Coastside, Marine Boulevard & Etheldore, Moss Beach.
The Special Meeting is for the purpose of completing the MCC Regular Agenda from June 13, 2012.
Directions: (Take Highway 1 to Marine Boulevard and follow hospital signs uphill)
MCC attendees must park in upper parking lot (first left near top of hill) per hospital policy.
The Council will be discussing and may take action on the following Regular Agenda Items:
Midcoast Safety and Mobility Studies - Kehoe (8:00) (30 minutes) Finalize letter to the County and/or Transportation Authority to support or deny the County’s request for a grant to further detail the planning for safe crossings, medians, and left turns in the Midcoast.
Desired Outcome: Approve and send a letter to the County and other agencies on the Council’s decision on safe crossings, medians, and left turns in the Midcoast.
Letter to Caltrans on Street Light in Moss Beach - Kehoe (8:45) (15 minutes) Discussion of supporting Supervisor Horsley’s Letter to Caltrans on illuminating the Virginia St. intersection in Moss Beach for better safety.
Desired Outcome: Approve a letter to Caltrans supporting the Supervisor’s request for street lighting in Moss Beach for safety.
MCC representation on C/CAG Airport Land Use Committee (ALUC) - Ketcham (9:00) (15 minutes) Select a MCC representative and alternate for ALUC and/or the HMB Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan (ALUCP) update Project Advisory Committee (PAC) in anticipation of C/CAG approval.
Desired Outcome: Select appointee and alternate.
New MCC Website - Erickson (9:15) (15 minutes) Present for approval a proposed name for the website and a first year budget for the site.
Desired Outcome: Approve a name and a first year budget for the new website.
