MCC Special Meeting to discuss county development plans for Midcoast, Monday

The Midcoast Community Council will be holding a Special Meeting on Monday, January 23, 2012 from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The Council will be discussing the following: 

Consideration of the Board of Supervisors' 1/24/12 Consent Agenda item #27 “Resolution in support of the application for Priority Development Area
(PDA) status for the Midcoast Urban Area.”

Desired Outcome: Decision whether to approve a letter requesting that the Supervisors delay consideration of application for Midcoast PDA designation for 3 months in order to give the community time to study and thoroughly understand the ramifications of this step.

The public is invited and their input is welcome.

MCC attendees must park in upper parking lot (first left near top of hill) per hospital policy
