Montara Beach murder suspect, now brain-dead, released

The County has released Charles Loo, arrested for murdering his son at Montara State Beach and now brain-dead as a result of a failed suicide attempt while in prison.  The brain-dead Loo was released "on his own recognizance". Loo was found stabbed at Montara State Beach alongside his dead son September 18.
