Howdy doodly do neighbors.  Its that time of year again.  The sun is shining, people are flocking to the beach, and...  yep, as I exited the surf this afternoon, I see that the last life ring + tether has apparently grown legs and walked away.  Or perhaps it has been relocated.  In any case, its the last one... time to order more.

It is what it is.  I expect replacing these to continue to be an annual act, at the least.  And: I ain't poor.  But nor am I loaded.

If anyone cares to help support the the cost of keeping these present, send donations c/o me at PO Box 370742.  Cookies and foreign currency accepted -- especially Costa Rican colónes.

For the similarly DIY inclined the equipment is product #251L (ring+tether) from marine-rescue.com

Hi Benjamin,

Have you raised enough funds to purchase the rings yet?

If not I will offer to buy one ring per year. In addition, I contacted the manufacturer of the rings (Jim Buoy) and they have offered a discount to us given our circumstance.

Benjamin,

Can you provide the town and zip where I can send donations.

Benjamin - Barry and I would like to donate a ring as well.  Can you email me the details at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)?  Thanks for the great community service.
