Sheet Composting Lecture and Work Day - Volunteers Needed to Prepare Garden for Spring Beds

Come help the Sanchez Library Garden prepare the soil for the winter and preparation for new beds!  The Library Garden will host a lecture on Sheet Composting taught by Master Gardener Dave Martinez.  Learn how Sheet Composting is done, how it helps keep soil alive and thrive and smother weeds!  Learn how sheet composting is helpful and how to sheet compost your own yard or garden.  After the lecture we will have a hands on demonstration and work day where you can help to get the Library Garden ready for Spring and preparation for our new beds. 

Master Gardeners will be on hand to provide information and answer questions about the Library Garden, Sheet Mulching and general gardening questions.  Your help with the Sheet Mulching Day will help the Library Garden to get ready for the Spring beds and planting where we will be donating produce to the Pacifica Resource Center and Seniors.  Come help get the garden ready so we can help others!
